Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup: No specific setup is required beyond ensuring the brush is clean before first use. Gently unpackage and inspect for any loose filaments.
Compatibility: These brushes are suitable for use with most water-based paints (emulsions, acrylics, vinyls) and many solvent-based paints. Always check the paint manufacturer's recommendations for the most suitable brush type.
Care: Proper cleaning and storage are crucial for maintaining the performance of your Ice Fusion brushes:
- Water-Based Paints: Immediately after use, wash the brush thoroughly with warm, soapy water. Rinse until the water runs clear. Gently squeeze out excess water, reshape the bristles, and allow to air dry, preferably in a bristle-up position or hanging.
- Solvent-Based Paints: Use the appropriate paint thinner or white spirit to clean the brush. Work the solvent through the bristles until all paint residue is removed. Rinse with clean solvent, then wash with soap and water. Squeeze out excess liquid, reshape, and air dry as above.
- Storage: Store brushes in a clean, dry place. To maintain filament shape, avoid storing them with heavy objects on top or in a way that bends the bristles.
