Heavy Duty Fruit & Cage netting is a cost-effective way to protect fruit, newly planted vegetables, or plants from predators such as birds, pigeons, mice, rabbits, and squirrels. It can be used over frames, bamboo canes, or tubular enclosures. This heavy-duty netting is lightweight at 40gsm and will not damage plants. Netting protection is particularly important when growing fresh fruit trees and plants like strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries, blackcurrants, and blackberries, as well as stone fruit trees such as plums, greengages, and damsons. Our Fruit & Cage netting is UV stabilized, allowing for year-round use. It is part of a range of BOP PP meshes manufactured in a special way; after extrusion, the mesh is "stretched" so that the molecules align to provide an extremely high tensile strength to weight ratio.
