Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the best stitching experience, always utilize a sewing machine needle sized between 70 and 90, depending on the weight of your chosen fabric. Using a needle that is too small or too large may lead to skipped stitches or frayed thread. Maintain a moderate top-thread tension; because the thread is smooth and lustrous, it may slide more easily than standard cotton threads. For care, this polyester thread is safe to wash at temperatures up to 60 degrees. Avoid using harsh chemical bleaches, as these can diminish the thread's signature shine over time.
