This Spontex Dustpan & Brush Set is designed for anyone seeking an efficient and convenient solution for everyday cleaning tasks. Its key benefit is the large capacity dustpan with a rubber lip, ensuring effortless sweeping and minimal mess. A potential consideration is its compact design, which may require more frequent emptying for very large jobs.

The dustpan is designed for a large capacity, meaning it can hold a significant amount of debris before needing to be emptied, reducing the frequency of trips to the bin.
While durable, the set is primarily designed for indoor use. For outdoor debris, ensure you are sweeping larger particles and avoid abrasive materials that could damage the brush or dustpan.
The brush nests neatly into the dustpan for compact storage. Alternatively, you can use the integrated hanging hole to store it on a hook, keeping it accessible and off the floor.
The durable bristles are effective on most common indoor surfaces like wood, tile, and linoleum. They are also suitable for short-pile carpets. For very delicate flooring, test in an inconspicuous area first.
Ensure the dustpan is held flat against the floor surface during sweeping. The rubber lip is designed to conform to the floor, creating a seal to capture fine dust. Make sure the lip itself is clean and free from debris.
No, the set is lightweight and ergonomically designed for comfortable use, making it easy to handle even for extended periods or quick clean-ups.
Gently reshape the bristles by hand. If they remain misshapen, soak the bristle head in warm water for a few minutes, then reshape and allow to air dry completely. Ensure the brush is stored correctly after use.
Ensure the rubber lip is making full contact with the floor. Check for any damage to the lip. Sweep with a firm but gentle motion, guiding dirt towards the dustpan.
Ensure both the dustpan and brush are clean and free of debris. Try re-aligning the brush within the dustpan's designated slot. If the nesting mechanism feels loose, check for any visible damage.
Use a damp cloth with mild soap if needed. For stubborn debris, a soft brush can help dislodge particles before wiping. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbers.
Setup: This set requires no assembly. Simply detach the brush from the dustpan for immediate use.
Compatibility: The Spontex Dustpan & Brush Set is designed for use on a wide range of indoor surfaces including hardwood, tile, laminate, linoleum, and short-pile carpets. The rubber lip is generally safe for most floor finishes, but always test in an inconspicuous area if concerned about delicate surfaces.
