These roller sleeves are specifically designed for use with emulsion paints on interior walls and ceilings.
No, these sleeves are made from sponge material optimized for water-based emulsion paints and are not suitable for oil-based products or varnishes.
Sponge rollers are excellent for achieving a very smooth, fine finish with minimal texture or roller marks, especially on flat surfaces.
Yes, these are refill sleeves and require a standard 9-inch paint roller frame to be used.
This pack contains three individual foam roller sleeves.
While you can attempt to clean them with soap and water for potential re-use, sponge rollers are generally considered more disposable than woven fabric rollers. Their performance may degrade after cleaning.
They are best suited for smooth interior surfaces such as drywall, plaster, and previously painted walls and ceilings.
Ensure the roller sleeve is fully saturated with paint but not overloaded. Roll evenly across the surface. Check for any debris on the roller or wall.
Confirm you are using the correct type of paint (emulsion). Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust or grease. Lightly sand glossy surfaces before application.
This may indicate excessive pressure or use with incompatible paints/surfaces. For best results, use with emulsion paint on smooth surfaces and apply moderate pressure. Consider using a new sleeve if damage occurs.
Setup: These are roller sleeves designed to fit a standard 9-inch paint roller frame. Simply slide the sleeve onto the frame, ensuring it is securely positioned.
Compatibility: Optimized for use with emulsion paints on interior surfaces. They are not recommended for oil-based paints, varnishes, or highly textured finishes.
Care: For extended life (if re-using), immediately after use, rinse the roller sleeve thoroughly with warm, soapy water to remove as much paint as possible. Squeeze out excess water and allow to dry completely. Store in a clean, dry place. Note that sponge rollers are often best suited for single projects due to the nature of the material.
