Product Information
Full details
The Matrix EVA Tackle Storage System is an essential organizational tool for dedicated anglers who require a streamlined way to store rigs, feeders, and terminal tackle. Designed to replace bulky traditional stacker units, this system provides a 60% weight reduction while maintaining high durability through its heat-sealed EVA construction. While it is specifically optimized for integration into the Matrix XR36 Pro, S36, and S25 seatbox frames, users with other brands of seatboxes should note that the dimensions are fixed at 46cm x 29cm x 14cm, which may limit compatibility with non-Matrix hardware.

FAQs
Does this replace the standard drawers on my seatbox?
No, it is designed to sit within the seatbox frame, usually occupying the space where a stacker unit would typically go.
Can I fit this in a non-Matrix seatbox?
It may fit provided the internal frame dimensions are larger than 46cm x 29cm x 14cm, but it is optimized strictly for Matrix models.
Are the internal bags waterproof?
The main system features heat-sealed seams for excellent water resistance, keeping your gear safe from light rain and splashes.
How do I clean the EVA material?
Simply wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners that may degrade the material.
Can I buy extra internal bags separately?
The system is supplied as a complete set; please check with your local Matrix dealer for availability of spare parts.
Is the material heat resistant?
While the seams are heat-sealed for strength, you should keep the unit away from direct heat sources like heaters or camp stoves to prevent warping.
Troubleshooting
Storage unit does not slide easily into the frame
Check the seatbox frame for bent metal or obstructions. Ensure the unit is oriented correctly and not being forced at an angle.
Zippers on internal bags are stiff
Clear any sand or grit from the zipper tracks using a soft brush. Applying a light, silicone-based lubricant can help if the stiffness persists.
Moisture buildup inside the bags
Ensure all terminal tackle is dry before placing it back into the storage bags after a session.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Significantly lighter than traditional tackle stackers
- Clear lids on internal bags allow for rapid gear selection
- Water-resistant heat-sealed seams protect contents from the elements
- Seamlessly fits into popular Matrix seatbox frame models
Cons
- Specific dimensions may not fit all third-party seatbox designs
- EVA material can be punctured if handled with sharp hooks or tools outside of their cases
- Not intended for heavy-duty hardware like large reels or bulky tools
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup is straightforward: the system is designed to slide directly into the frame beneath your seatbox. Ensure the frame is clear of debris before inserting the unit to prevent abrasion.
Compatibility: This unit is verified for use with the Matrix XR36 Pro, S36, and S25 seatboxes. Always measure your seatbox frame clearance before purchase if using a different model to ensure a proper fit.
Care Instructions: To maintain the longevity of the EVA material, wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth after every trip to remove mud or salt residue. Ensure the unit is completely dry before storing it for long periods to prevent mold. Avoid placing the unit near high heat sources, as this can weaken the heat-sealed seams.
