The Astonish Shake and Fresh Carpet Freshener is designed for homeowners and pet owners looking to revitalize their living spaces by eliminating deep-seated odors from carpets and rugs. Its key benefit is the inclusion of advanced Malodour Control technology, which actively neutralizes smells rather than just masking them with the Tropical Breeze scent. A notable caveat is that it is a powder-based treatment, requiring a vacuum cleaner to remove the residue after application, which may be inconvenient for those without easy access to a vacuum.

Yes, it is formulated to neutralize pet odors; however, it is recommended to keep pets away from the area while the powder is settling to prevent them from inhaling the fine dust.
It is generally safe for most carpets, but you should always test a small, inconspicuous area of your rug first to ensure colorfastness.
You can use it as often as needed, though most users find that once a week or whenever they notice odors is sufficient.
No, the Astonish Shake and Fresh range is certified cruelty-free and vegan.
If you spill a large amount, sweep up the excess with a broom before vacuuming the remaining residue to avoid overloading your vacuum cleaner.
No, this product is specifically designed for carpet fibers and is not suitable for hard floor surfaces.
The carpet may have been damp or the vacuum suction is insufficient; ensure the carpet is bone-dry before application and perform multiple passes with the vacuum.
Fine powders can clog vacuum filters; empty your dust canister or replace the vacuum bag more frequently when using carpet freshening powders.
Using the product is straightforward: simply shake the powder onto the dry carpet, wait, and vacuum. Always ensure your carpet is completely dry before application to avoid clumping. The product is compatible with standard household vacuum cleaners, but it is advised to check your vacuum filter periodically, as the fine powder may accumulate more quickly than regular dust. Store the remaining packs in a cool, dry place to maintain the potency of the scent and the efficacy of the odor-neutralizing agents.
