While the initial bond forms in 60 seconds, the adhesive typically reaches its full strength in 12-24 hours, depending on the materials and environmental conditions.
It is not recommended for porous materials like fabric or paper, as the thin liquid can soak through and create a mess or stiffen the material. It is best for non-porous surfaces like plastic, metal, and wood.
The cured adhesive has good water resistance, making it suitable for many household repairs that may come into contact with water, but it is not designed for prolonged submersion.
When stored properly in a cool, dry place with the cap tightly sealed, the glue typically has a shelf life of at least one year.
This adhesive is not designed for high-temperature applications. Avoid using it on materials that will be exposed to significant heat, as it may weaken the bond.
Uncured glue can usually be wiped away with a damp cloth. For stubborn uncured residue, acetone-based nail polish remover can be effective, but test on an inconspicuous area first.

Loctite 60 Seconds is compatible with metal, wood, rubber, plastic (excluding polyethylene and polypropylene), ceramic, and general household materials. It is not recommended for use on Styrofoam, fabrics, or paper where it might soak through.
Care:
Store tubes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep caps tightly sealed after each use to prevent the adhesive from drying out. Clean up any excess uncured glue immediately with a damp cloth. Cured adhesive may be difficult to remove. Ensure good ventilation when in use.
