Do not throw them in regular trash. Take them to a dedicated battery recycling drop-off point or local hazardous waste collection center.
While batteries can be stored in cool environments, refrigeration is not required. Store them at room temperature in a dry location to avoid condensation.
When kept in their original packaging at room temperature, these batteries have a shelf life of up to 10 years.
Yes, all Blaupunkt CR2032 batteries are manufactured without mercury.
Ensure the battery is inserted with the correct polarity (+ side up or as indicated by the device) and confirm that the contact points are clean and free of corrosion.
Check the device for background processes or malfunctions causing a short circuit. Ensure you are not storing the device in extreme heat, which can accelerate energy depletion.
To install, identify the battery compartment on your device, usually located on the back or underside. Use a small flat-head screwdriver or a coin to rotate the compartment cover. Ensure the positive (+) side of the battery faces outward as indicated by the device housing. Always keep spare batteries in their original, child-proof packaging in a cool, dry place. If the device will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery to prevent potential leakage. Never store batteries in metal containers or near other conductive materials to avoid short-circuiting.
