The Ted Baker Cecil Rug is an ideal choice for homeowners seeking to add artisanal character and comfort to their living spaces, offering a dense, handcrafted wool pile that provides superior underfoot cushioning and natural thermal insulation. While its geometric pattern and multicolour palette make it a versatile design centerpiece, users should note that as a natural wool product, it requires regular maintenance and may experience minor shedding common to handcrafted textiles.

Yes, the dense wool pile and sturdy cotton backing make it durable enough for hallways and living rooms.
No, it is recommended to use a suction-only vacuum to avoid pulling or damaging the hand-woven wool fibers.
While the materials are high-quality, it is best to avoid placing the rug in direct, intense sunlight to maintain the vibrancy of the multicolour pattern.
Wool is resilient, but be aware that sharp claws may catch on the loops of the rug. Regular vacuuming helps manage pet hair.
The Cecil Rug features a 17 mm pile height, providing a soft and substantial feel underfoot.
This is normal for new wool rugs; vacuum gently and regularly to clear away loose fibers until shedding subsides.
Place a heavy, flat object like a book on the corners for 24 hours to help the material settle.
Blot the area immediately with a clean, white cotton cloth. Do not use chemical cleaners or scrub the fibers.
When unrolling your rug, allow it to lay flat for 24-48 hours to naturally remove any curling from shipping. The rug is compatible with most standard hard floor types; however, using a non-slip pad is recommended if placed on exceptionally smooth surfaces to maximize safety. For maintenance, vacuum regularly using a suction-only setting, avoiding beater bars which can damage wool fibers. In the event of a spill, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth rather than rubbing. Professional rug cleaning is recommended annually to preserve the integrity of the hand-woven fibers and keep the colours vibrant.
