Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Minerva Core Range Nina fabric, follow these guidelines:
- Pre-treatment: While polyester is generally stable, consider a light steam press before cutting to ensure the weave is relaxed.
- Cutting: Use sharp fabric shears or a rotary cutter. Given the textured surface, ensure you are cutting on a flat, stable surface.
- Sewing: Use a standard polyester thread and a universal needle (size 80/12 is typically ideal).
- Pressing: Use a medium-low heat setting. Because this is a textured polyester, avoid excessive heat which could flatten the raised floral pattern.
- Cleaning: This fabric is strictly for dry cleaning. Do not attempt to machine wash, as this may damage the integrity of the woven structure.
