Setup, Compatibility & Care
Proper setup and care will ensure your Bestway H2OGO! Double Slip 'N' Slide provides seasons of fun.
Setup Instructions
- Choose Your Location: Select a large, flat, clear grassy area, free from rocks, sticks, or other sharp objects that could puncture the slide or hinder sliding. Ensure there's enough room beyond the drench pool for safe run-off.
- Unroll the Slide: Carefully unroll the slide in your chosen location, ensuring it's laid out as flat and straight as possible.
- Connect Water Source: Locate the water connection point on the slide (typically near the speed ramp). Securely attach your standard garden hose to this connector. Ensure the connection is tight to prevent leaks.
- Turn on Water: Slowly turn on the water supply from your garden hose. Water will begin to flow through the built-in sprinklers, wetting the slide surface and filling the drench pool.
- Inflate Drench Pool (if applicable): Info needed: [If the inflatable drench pool rim requires air inflation, specific instructions for doing so will be needed here, e.g., 'Locate the air valve on the drench pool rim and inflate using a hand pump or by mouth until firm.']
Compatibility
- Surface: Best suited for a flat, grassy lawn.
- Water Source: Requires a standard garden hose with adequate water pressure.
- User Age: Designed for both children and adults.
Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning: After use, rinse the entire slide with clean water to remove any dirt, grass, or debris. Use a soft cloth if needed for stubborn spots.
- Drying: It is crucial to allow the slide to air dry completely before folding and storing. Lay it out in a sunny area until all moisture has evaporated. Storing a wet slide can lead to mold, mildew, and material degradation.
- Storage: Once dry, carefully fold the slide to its original compact size. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and pests. A storage bag (if included) or container is ideal.
- Puncture Repair: In case of small punctures, use the included repair patch kit according to its instructions. Ensure the area around the puncture is clean and dry before applying the patch.
