Dr. John Hypoallergenic Chicken with Oats is an ideal choice for dog owners seeking a wheat-free diet to support canine digestive health. This recipe features 26% chicken protein paired with a wholesome base of oats and barley, making it gentle on sensitive stomachs while providing essential nutrients. The primary caveat is that it is formulated specifically for digestion management rather than high-performance energy needs, so owners of highly active working dogs may need to supplement the diet based on activity levels.

Transitioning your dog to Dr. John Hypoallergenic Chicken with Oats should be done gradually. Start by replacing 25% of the old food with the new formula, slowly increasing the proportion over one week.
Storage: Keep the bag in a cool, dry place and ensure the top is sealed tightly after every meal to maintain the crunch and freshness of the kibble.
Compatibility: This food is suitable for most adult dogs, but owners should monitor weight and adjust portions based on the individual dog's metabolism. Ensure fresh, clean water is always available, as a grain-based diet requires proper hydration to assist with fiber digestion.
