FAQs
What are the dimensions of the bath rack?
The Alden Bamboo Bath Rack extends from 70cm to 102cm in length.
What material is the bath rack made of?
It is made of environmentally friendly, high-quality bamboo with a clear varnish finish.
How do I clean the bath rack?
Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh cleaners and prolonged exposure to water. Dry thoroughly after each use.
Can I place a laptop on the book/iPad holder?
Yes, the holder is designed to accommodate books or tablets, and a standard-sized laptop may also fit depending on its dimensions, provided it is placed securely.
Is the rack suitable for all bath types?
The extendable design is suitable for most standard bathtubs. It's recommended to measure your bathtub's width to ensure a proper fit.
Does the varnish protect the bamboo from water permanently?
The clear varnish aids against water ingress, but it is not a permanent seal. Regular drying after use is crucial to prevent water damage and maintain the rack's condition.
Can I put a hot mug on the candle/cup slot?
While the slot can hold a cup, placing very hot items directly might affect the varnish over time. It's best to use it for beverages at moderate temperatures.
Troubleshooting
Rack feels unstable
Ensure the rack is fully extended to securely rest on both sides of the bathtub. Check that the bathtub edges are level and clean.
Bamboo shows signs of water damage (e.g., mold, warping)
Wipe the rack dry immediately after use. Store it in a well-ventilated area. Consider reapplying a bamboo-specific sealant if damage is minor.
Varnish appears to be peeling
Stop using abrasive cleaners. Gently sand the affected area and consider reapplying a clear, water-resistant varnish suitable for bamboo.
Wine glass holder feels insecure
Ensure the wine glass is placed gently and centered within the holder. Avoid placing heavy items on the rack simultaneously which could affect balance.

Setup: Simply place the bath rack across your bathtub, extending it to the desired length that comfortably spans the width of your tub. Ensure it sits securely on the edges before placing any items on it.
Compatibility: The extendable design, ranging from 70cm to 102cm, makes it suitable for most standard bathtubs. It is recommended to measure your bathtub width to confirm a suitable fit.
Care: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Avoid prolonged immersion in water. To maintain the varnish and bamboo, dry the rack thoroughly after each use, especially if it comes into contact with water. Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or solvents.
