Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of loose debris and old sealant. Use a wire brush or scraper to remove any existing sealant.
- Cut the nozzle of the ROOF-MATE tube to the desired bead size.
- Insert the tube into a sealant gun or caulking gun.
- Apply the sealant evenly along the joint or seam.
- Smooth the sealant with a caulking tool or a wet finger.
Compatibility:
ROOF-MATE is compatible with metal, construction grade plastics, paint, stone, brick, and bitumens. Always test on a small, inconspicuous area if unsure.
Care:
- Store ROOF-MATE in a cool, dry place.
- Once opened, use the sealant within a reasonable timeframe. Properly reseal the tube.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures.
