The Metabo KGS 18 LTX BL 216 Mitre Saw features a powerful brushless motor, enabling it to perform like a mains-powered tool. It offers a soft start and overload protection for extended motor and drive service life. The saw boasts a large cutting capacity due to its sliding function, accommodating wide workpieces. The turntable provides precise angle settings with stop points for common angles, and the saw blade can be inclined up to 47°. A quick-action clamp ensures secure workpiece fixing from the top or front, and a depth guide facilitates groove creation. The Precision Cut Line (PCL) offers a precise shadow cutting line without re-adjustment, thanks to an integrated LED. All scales and operating elements are easily visible and intuitively operable from the working position. Ergonomic handle areas allow for comfortable carrying with one or two hands. This is a bare unit, meaning no battery or charger is included. It is part of the CAS system, compatible with all 18V battery packs and chargers from CAS brands, promoting a multi-brand battery system. The package includes: 1 x Cordless Cut Wood - Classic Saw Blade 216 x 30mm Z56, 2 x Table Length Extensions, 1 x Length Guide, 1 x Material Clamp, 1 x Tool for Saw Blade Change, and 1 x Chip Collection Bag. This compact cordless crosscut and mitre saw is part of the mobile M-class, designed for mobility, precision, and user-friendliness. It delivers powerful sawing comparable to mains-powered tools and can achieve up to 400 cuts in soft wood (60 x 60 mm) per battery charge (LiHD 10 Ah). The robust die-cast aluminium design meets high demands, and effective dust extraction is provided via an integrated dust scoop. It is also suited for undercuts with its saw blade inclination from -2 to 47°.
