Are these panels suitable for use inside a shower enclosure?

Troubleshooting

Panel surface looks dull or streaky

Clean with a mild non-abrasive soap and a soft microfiber cloth; avoid acidic or bleach-based cleaners.

Joints between panels are not water-tight

Ensure a high-quality silicone sealant is applied to the tongue-and-groove or butt joints during installation.

Panel feels loose on the wall

Check that the correct type of adhesive was used during installation and ensure the surface was free of dust and debris before application.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Resistant to mold and mildew due to grout-free design
Modern, high-end onyx marble visual aesthetic
Covers large surface area efficiently
Suitable for direct installation over existing walls
Easy to wipe clean and maintain

Cons

Large panel size can be difficult to maneuver in tight spaces
Requires precise cutting tools for outlets and corners
Not suitable for use behind direct high-heat sources

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To install, ensure the existing wall surface is clean, dry, and structurally sound. Panels can be adhered directly to stable substrates using a high-quality waterproof adhesive. When cutting, always use a fine-toothed blade to prevent chipping the laminate surface. For cleaning, use a soft cloth and a mild non-abrasive detergent; avoid harsh chemicals or scourers that could damage the super matt finish. Because there is no grout, maintenance is limited to an occasional wipe-down to remove soap residue.
