Setup, Compatibility & Care
Proper care and application ensure the best experience and longevity of your Mon Paris Eau de Parfum.
First Use & Application
- Unboxing: Carefully remove the bottle from its packaging.
- Initial Spray: For the very first use, you may need to 'prime' the sprayer by pressing it a few times until a fine mist emerges.
- Patch Test (for sensitive skin): If you have sensitive skin, apply a tiny amount to an inconspicuous area (e.g., inside of your elbow) 24 hours before full application to check for any reaction. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
Compatibility
- Skin Types: Mon Paris Eau de Parfum is generally compatible with most skin types. However, individual skin chemistry can affect how the fragrance smells and its longevity.
- Layering: While Mon Paris is a complete fragrance on its own, some users enjoy layering it with unscented lotions or products from the same Mon Paris line (e.g., hair mist) for an enhanced or customized experience. Avoid layering with heavily scented products that might clash.
Care and Storage
- Store in a Cool, Dark Place: Fragrances are sensitive to light and extreme temperatures. Always store your Mon Paris bottle in its original box or a dark cabinet, away from direct sunlight, windows, and heat sources (like radiators or bathroom steam).
- Keep Upright: Store the bottle in an upright position to prevent leakage.
- Secure Cap: Ensure the cap is always securely fastened when not in use to prevent evaporation and preserve the scent.
- Avoid Shaking: There is no need to shake the bottle; it does not mix the ingredients better and can introduce air, potentially shortening its lifespan.
- Shelf Life: While perfumes don't 'expire' in the traditional sense, their scent profile can change over time. Properly stored, an EDP can maintain its quality for several years after opening.
