Full details
Give your lawn the best possible start with Harrowden Rapid Roots Pre-Turfing Lawn Feed. This feed is designed to help newly laid turf establish quickly, promoting healthy root growth for a strong, green lawn. It's ideal for use before seeding or laying turf, or directly on top of freshly laid turf. While perfect for initial establishment, it can also be used as a general lawn revitalizer any time of the year. The formula includes essential nutrients like nitrogen for leaf growth, phosphorus for root development, and potassium to improve disease resistance and water absorption. Magnesium oxide aids in chlorophyll production for vibrant green color, while humates, trace elements, and seaweed enhance nutrient retention and stimulate beneficial soil bacteria. Each bag covers 100m² when applied at the recommended rate of 20g/m². For pre-turfing application, spread the granules onto the soil and work them into the top 20-30mm with a rake before laying turf, followed by watering. If you have remaining feed, you can apply it to your established lawn six weeks after laying to support growth for the first six months. Avoid application during heatwaves or droughts for optimal results. This lawn feed ensures your lawn gets the best start, leading to a healthier and greener outcome.
