The kenable 10m SVGA Extension Cable is designed for IT professionals and home office users who need to bridge the gap between their PC and a monitor or video projector over a significant distance without sacrificing image quality. By utilizing high-grade 28 AWG triple mini coaxial construction and full-pin connectivity, this cable ensures reliable data transmission and DDC support for modern widescreen displays; however, users should be aware that at a 10-meter length, proper cable management is essential to prevent signal degradation caused by tight bends or physical stress.

Yes, because the cable is wired for full DDC functionality (pins 10, 12, and 15), it supports the handshaking required for widescreen monitor resolutions.
While technically possible, daisy-chaining analog SVGA cables beyond 10-15 meters often results in noticeable signal degradation or ghosting. It is recommended to use a powered VGA extender for longer distances.
Yes, SVGA and VGA are generally used interchangeably. This cable uses the standard 15-pin D-Sub connector found on most analog video equipment.
The cable uses 28 AWG conductors for both the mini coaxial lines and the secondary data lines, meeting the UL2919 standard for quality.
Yes, the male connector includes integrated thumbscrews to ensure a secure, locked connection to your source device or coupler.
Check that the connection is tight at both ends and ensure the cable is not running parallel to heavy power cables, which can cause interference.
Ensure both ends of the cable are fully seated. Since this cable supports DDC (pins 12, 15, and 10), verify that your primary monitor cable is also fully functional.
Bypass the extension cable to test if the signal works with a direct connection. If the direct connection works, check the extension cable for physical damage or bent pins.
To set up your connection, simply plug the male end of the extension cable into your source device (PC, laptop, or video splitter) and attach your existing monitor cable to the female end of this extension. This cable is compatible with all standard SVGA interfaces and devices requiring DDC support. To maintain signal longevity, avoid pulling the cable by the connector head; always grasp the molded shell. When storing or routing, use gentle loops rather than tight coils to protect the internal wiring, and keep the gold-plated pins free of dust or debris for optimal contact.
