Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before first use, wash the pans in warm, soapy water and dry them thoroughly. To preserve the Teflon Platinum Plus coating, avoid using metal utensils, steel wool, or abrasive scouring pads. Always use silicone, plastic, or wooden tools to prevent micro-scratches. These pans are compatible with gas, electric, and radiant stovetops. For optimal longevity, hand-washing is strictly recommended; while the exterior may be durable, the interior coating will degrade significantly if placed in a dishwasher. Allow the pans to cool completely before submerging in water to prevent thermal shock, which can cause the base to warp.
