Setup, Compatibility & Care
For optimal plant health, evaluate your placement needs before setup. If using the pot outdoors, it is recommended to drill appropriate drainage holes in the base to prevent water stagnation. When planting, place a layer of gravel or expanded clay pebbles at the bottom to assist with drainage and stability. To maintain the sandstone finish, periodically wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid using abrasive sponges or harsh chemicals that may degrade the stone-effect texture. When moving the planter, lift from the base rather than the rim to ensure the structural integrity of the material is maintained over the long term.
