Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the surface to be covered is clean, dry, and smooth. Remove any dust, grease, or old adhesive.
- Cut the vinyl wrap to the desired size, leaving a slight overlap if necessary.
- Peel back a small section of the backing paper.
- Carefully align the vinyl and apply it to the surface, smoothing out air bubbles as you go.
- Use a squeegee or credit card to press the vinyl down firmly, working from the center outwards.
- Trim any excess material with a sharp craft knife.
Compatibility:
This vinyl is suitable for application on smooth, non-porous surfaces such as laminated furniture, painted walls, glass, metal, and melamine-coated chipboard. It is not recommended for rough, textured, or uneven surfaces.
Care:
Clean the surface with a soft, damp cloth and mild soapy water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can damage the finish. For stubborn marks, use a cloth dampened with warm water. Ensure the surface is dry before attempting to remove the vinyl.
