Full details
The Korum Quick Release Adaptor is an essential tool for anglers looking to streamline their setup process on the bank. Designed for those who value efficiency, it allows you to permanently attach accessories like bite alarms and rod rests to your gear with a one-time screw-in installation, thereafter enabling near-instant detachment. While it offers unmatched convenience for quick sessions, users should ensure the base unit is tightened firmly during the initial setup to prevent rotation during heavy use.

FAQs
Does this work with all standard bank sticks?
Yes, the Korum Quick Release Adaptor features standard threads compatible with the vast majority of fishing bank sticks and rod pods.
Can I use this for keep nets?
Yes, it is specifically designed to handle the weight and pressure requirements of keep net arms.
How many adaptors do I need?
You need one adaptor set for each individual accessory you wish to make quick-release compatible.
Is the material rust-proof?
The adaptor is manufactured from durable, reinforced materials designed to withstand the typical moisture and environmental exposure of bank fishing.
Does it lock in place securely?
Yes, the design uses a positive locking mechanism to ensure your gear remains secure during active fishing.
Troubleshooting
Accessory feels loose after connection
Ensure the threaded section on the bank stick is tightened fully and that the locking collar is pushed down completely until it clicks.
Hard to release the collar
Check for any dirt or sand trapped in the mechanism; clear it with a blast of compressed air or a clean, dry brush.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Significantly reduces setup and pack-down time
- Highly durable reinforced construction
- Universal fit for standard fishing accessories
- Eliminates wear and tear on threaded bankware
Cons
- Requires purchasing individual units for each accessory
- Adds a slight extension to the height of your setup
- Requires firm tightening to prevent twisting
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install, screw the male thread of the adaptor into your chosen accessory (e.g., bite alarm or rod rest) and the female thread onto your bank stick or accessory arm. Ensure both sides are tightened securely with a wrench if necessary to prevent the adaptor from loosening during use. To maintain the mechanism, occasionally wipe the internal connection points with a dry cloth to ensure debris or grit does not impede the quick-release lock. Do not force the locking collar; it should slide smoothly into position when aligned correctly.
