Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The watch arrives with basic time and date settings. To set the time, date, and other functions, refer to the detailed instructions in the official G-Shock manual. Typically, this involves holding down a specific button to enter setting mode and using other buttons to adjust hours, minutes, day, month, and year.
Compatibility: This is a standalone digital watch and does not require compatibility with other devices like smartphones or computers. It operates independently.
Care: To ensure longevity:
- Cleaning: Wipe the watch case and band with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as they can damage the resin.
- Battery Replacement: The watch uses a specific battery type. Replacement should ideally be done by a professional to maintain water resistance.
- Water Resistance: While water-resistant for surface water sports, avoid prolonged submersion in deep water or exposure to hot water, steam, or corrosive liquids, which can compromise seals.
