Setup:
- Connect the appropriate power source (AC or DC) to the charger's input terminals.
- Select the correct battery type (LiPo, NiMH, etc.) using the menu buttons.
- Connect the battery's balance lead and main leads to the corresponding ports on the charger.
- Set the charge current according to your battery's specifications (typically 1C is recommended for LiPo batteries).
- Initiate the charge or discharge cycle.
Compatibility: The Powerpal 3.0 is compatible with most common battery types including Lithium Polymer (LiPo), Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFe), Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH), and Nickel Cadmium (NiCd) batteries. It supports charging via standard AC mains power or DC power sources (e.g., car battery, power supply).
Care:
- Always ensure the charger is placed on a stable, non-flammable surface during operation.
- Keep the charger clean and free from dust and debris, especially the ventilation ports.
- Use a damp cloth to clean the exterior; avoid harsh chemicals or submerging the unit in water.
- Store the charger in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- Periodically inspect the power cords and connectors for any signs of damage.
