Water gently but frequently, keeping the soil consistently moist until the grass is established. Once established, reduce watering frequency but water deeply.
The extended sowing period allows for sowing in both spring and autumn, but check local conditions for the best timing in your area.
It is recommended to fertilize according to the soil test results and the product instructions to encourage healthy growth.
The fast-acting formula allows for germination within a relatively short period, typically within a few days to a couple of weeks, depending on the conditions.
While the seed will grow in most conditions, optimal growth is achieved in areas with adequate sunlight. Consider a shade-tolerant blend for heavily shaded areas.
Once the grass reaches a height of 2-3 inches, begin mowing. Use a sharp mower blade and avoid cutting more than one-third of the grass height at a time.
Ensure the soil is consistently moist, check the sowing depth, and verify the seeds' expiration date. Consider soil temperature and sunlight exposure.
Ensure proper watering, consider overseeding, and address any potential issues such as poor soil quality or pest problems.
Despite the bird deterrent, consider using netting or other deterrents until the grass is established.
