Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber to ensure all connections are watertight and pressure levels are appropriate for the thermostatic unit. The valve is designed for exposed mounting, meaning pipe centers must be measured precisely before finishing tile work. Compatibility with your existing water heating system (combi-boiler or gravity-fed) should be verified by a professional to ensure the valve receives sufficient pressure. For maintenance, clean the chrome surface regularly with a soft cloth and warm soapy water. Avoid abrasive sponges or harsh chemical cleaners, as these can strip the chrome finish and damage the aesthetic integrity of the heritage-style hardware. If flow rates decrease over time, the internal filters may need to be inspected for sediment buildup.
