The SteelSeries Aerox 3 Wireless Gen 2 gaming mouse is designed for competitive players seeking speed, precision, and comfort. Its primary benefit is the ultra-low latency and high-precision sensor that ensures every action translates instantly to the screen, offering a significant advantage in fast-paced games. A potential caveat is its lightweight, perforated design, which may not appeal to users who prefer a heavier mouse or are concerned about dust and liquid ingress, despite its AquaBarrier protection.

While the mouse supports PC and Mac, compatibility with consoles like PlayStation or Xbox can vary depending on the console's USB and Bluetooth support. For optimal performance and full feature access, it is designed primarily for PC and Mac.
Ensure the USB dongle is securely plugged in. Try a different USB port. Re-pair the mouse by holding down the left and right mouse buttons for 10 seconds while connected to the dongle. Ensure the mouse is charged.
Verify that Bluetooth is enabled on your device. Ensure the mouse is in Bluetooth pairing mode (check manual for specific instructions). Remove the mouse from your device's Bluetooth list and try pairing again. Make sure the mouse is charged.
Check if the mouse firmware is up to date via SteelSeries GG software. If the issue persists, the switches may be worn; contact SteelSeries support for warranty service as the switches are rated for 80 million clicks.
Clean the mouse sensor on the underside with a dry, lint-free cloth. Ensure the mousepad surface is clean and suitable for optical sensors. Adjust DPI settings in SteelSeries GG software. Check for software conflicts or ensure drivers are up to date.
Ensure you are using the correct USB-C cable and a reliable power source. Clean the USB-C port on the mouse and the cable connector. Check battery health in SteelSeries GG software if available. If the battery life is significantly shorter than advertised and the mouse is within warranty, contact SteelSeries support.
