This auto-darkening welding helmet from AB Tools is designed for welders seeking versatile protection during MIG, TIG, and ARC welding, as well as grinding. Its key benefit is the automatic adjustment to welding light, safeguarding your eyes while providing clear visibility. A minor caveat is the fixed viewing window size. It features adjustable shade levels, quick switching times, and dual power sources for continuous operation.

This helmet is suitable for MIG, TIG, and ARC welding processes.
Yes, the helmet features a dedicated 'Grind' mode which keeps the lens in a light state (DIN 4) for grinding operations.
The helmet uses a dual power system of solar cells and lithium batteries. Battery life will vary based on usage, but the solar assist helps extend operational time.
The viewing window area is 92 x 42 mm.
The shade level can be adjusted externally between DIN 9 and DIN 13 using the dedicated controls on the helmet.
Yes, it provides constant protection up to DIN 15 against UV and IR rays at all times.
The switching speed from light to dark is 1/25,000 seconds.
Check if the protective film is removed from the sensors. Ensure the helmet is in 'Weld' mode and not 'Grind' mode. Verify that the sensitivity is set appropriately. Check the power source (solar and battery).
Adjust the 'Dark Shade' setting (DIN 9-13) according to your welding current and preference. Consult the manual for recommended shade levels for different welding processes.
Adjust the 'Delay Time' setting to a shorter duration if the lens remains dark for too long after the arc stops.
