To ensure the longevity of your Equip Jump Starter, keep the unit charged at at least 50% capacity at all times. Although the device is designed for vehicles with 12V systems, always check your vehicle manual before first use. To charge the jump starter itself, use the provided cable and ensure it is kept in a cool, dry place within its case. Avoid leaving the unit in direct, high-heat sunlight for extended periods, as this can degrade the internal lithium-ion battery. Every few months, even if not used, plug the unit into a power source to verify its charge level and refresh the internal cells.
