Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Prepare the ground by clearing away rocks, weeds, and debris.
- Unroll the fabric carefully, ensuring it lies flat. For cutting, a sharp utility knife or heavy-duty scissors are recommended.
- Overlap seams by at least 6 inches for continuous coverage.
- Secure the fabric using landscape staples or pins, spaced appropriately around the edges and seams.
- Cover with mulch, gravel, or other desired ground cover for aesthetic appeal and added protection.
Compatibility:
This fabric is compatible with most mulches, gravel, soil, and decorative stones. It can be used in conjunction with irrigation systems, as its permeable nature allows water to pass through.
Care:
Minimal care is required. Periodically check for any areas where weeds might be trying to grow through overlaps or edges. Keep the fabric free from excessive debris that could inhibit water drainage. While durable, covering the fabric with mulch or other materials will prolong its lifespan and protect it from direct UV exposure.
