Product Information

Full details

This Airfix 1:600 scale model kit features the HMS Belfast Warship. HMS Belfast saw action throughout WWII, including the Battle of the North Cape in 1943 and played a major role during the D-Day landings in 1944. After a refit, Belfast also played an active role in the Korean War from 1950-1952. It is one of only three surviving bombardment vessels from D-Day, and is now preserved by IWM and anchored in the River Thames near Tower Bridge in London. This set includes rare photographs to be displayed with the finished model.
