Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Preparation: Clean the stair surface thoroughly. Remove any dirt, dust, or debris. Ensure the surface is completely dry.
- Positioning: Measure and determine the placement of each tread on the stair. Ensure even spacing for a neat appearance.
- Application: Peel off the protective film from the adhesive backing of the tread.
- Adhesion: Carefully align the tread with the edge of the stair and press firmly onto the surface. Apply pressure across the entire surface to ensure proper adhesion.
Compatibility
The stair treads are compatible with most stair materials, including wood, tile, and laminate. However, adhesion may vary depending on the surface texture and condition. It's recommended to test a small area first to ensure adequate adhesion.
Care
- Cleaning: Clean the treads regularly with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the material.
- Maintenance: Regularly inspect the treads for any signs of wear or detachment. If a tread becomes loose, carefully reapply it, ensuring the surface is clean and dry. Replace any treads that become severely damaged.
