Product Information

Full details

Cazitel Flavoured Wormer Tablets are designed for cat owners seeking an effective and straightforward method to treat and prevent mixed gastrointestinal worm infections, including both roundworms and tapeworms. These tablets offer the key benefit of a grilled-meat flavour to significantly improve palatability, which simplifies the administration process for finicky pets; however, cat owners should note that proper dosing depends strictly on the animal's weight, requiring precise measurement to ensure efficacy.

FAQs

Can I give this to a kitten?

These tablets are suitable for cats weighing 1kg or more. Always check your kitten's weight before administering.

How often should I treat my cat?

Consult your veterinarian for a tailored parasite control schedule based on your cat's lifestyle and local risk factors.

What if my cat vomits after taking the tablet?

If vomiting occurs shortly after dosing, contact your veterinarian to determine if the medication was absorbed or if a re-dose is necessary.

Does this treat fleas?

No, Cazitel Flavoured Wormer Tablets are specifically formulated for internal gastrointestinal worms, not external parasites like fleas.

Can I split the tablet for a cat under 1kg?

This product is not recommended for cats weighing under 1kg. Please consult a veterinarian for appropriate dosing for very small kittens.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure maximum effectiveness, weigh your cat accurately before selecting the dose. These tablets are designed for adult cats and kittens weighing at least 1kg. For storage, keep the tablets in their original packaging, stored in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Ensure the medication is kept out of reach of children and other household pets. If you have concerns about existing health conditions or if your cat is pregnant, consult with your veterinarian before beginning any worming protocol.
