The Metabo KGS 18 LTX BL 254 Mitre Saw features a powerful brushless motor, providing mains-powered tool performance. It includes soft start and overload protection for extended motor and drive life. The saw offers a large cutting capacity with its sliding function, suitable for wide workpieces. The turntable allows for fast, precise setting of common angles, and the saw blade can be inclined from -2 to 47°, enabling undercuts. A quick-action clamp secures the workpiece from the top or front, and a depth guide facilitates groove creation. The Precision Cut Line (PCL) system uses an LED to create an accurate shadow cutting line without needing readjustment. All scales and controls are easily visible and intuitive to use from the working position. Ergonomic handle areas ensure comfortable carrying with one or two hands. This product is part of the CAS system, compatible with all 18V battery packs and chargers from CAS brands. It includes 2 x Metabo LiPOWER 18v 5.2AH Batteries, a charger, a 254 x 30mm Z56 wood saw blade, 2 x table length extensions, a length guide, a material clamp, a tool for saw blade changes, and a chip collection bag. It delivers up to 205 cuts in 80 x 80 mm soft wood per battery charge (with a LiHD 10 Ah battery). The design is a robust die-cast aluminium construction for demanding use, with effective dust extraction via an integrated dust scoop.
