Troubleshooting
Cards feel 'stiff' or hard to shuffle upon first use
This is common with new, high-quality playing cards. Repeated use and careful shuffling will soften the stock over time.
Surface is attracting dust or lint
Wipe the individual cards gently with a clean, dry microfiber cloth to remove debris without damaging the finish.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- High-quality printing with vibrant Splatoon-inspired colors
- Functional as both a game deck and a collector's item
- Detailed artwork incorporating specific in-game gear abilities
- Sturdy construction suitable for repeated play
Cons
- May be difficult to shuffle initially due to material coating
- Themed designs may be distracting for traditional players unfamiliar with Splatoon
- Not intended for professional gambling or casino use
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your deck, avoid exposing the cards to moisture or direct sunlight for extended periods, as this can cause warping or fading of the printed inks. When playing, use a soft surface like a felt gaming mat to reduce wear on the edges. If the cards become slightly sticky due to humidity, a light dusting of fanning powder is recommended to maintain smooth distribution during shuffling. Keep the cards in the provided storage box when not in use to prevent accidental bending or loss of individual cards.
