Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure a successful installation, first cut the 28mm copper pipe cleanly at a 90-degree angle. It is critical to remove all burrs from both the inside and outside of the pipe end, as sharp edges can damage the internal O-ring seal during insertion. Ensure the pipe is fully inserted into the fitting to the marked depth. Use only a compatible M-profile pressing tool and verify that the jaws are properly aligned with the fitting beads. Once pressed, do not attempt to rotate or dismantle the joint. Regularly inspect the jaws of your press tool for wear and tear, as worn jaws can result in inconsistent crimping pressure.
