The Insta360 Quick Release Cold Shoe is an essential accessory for vloggers and content creators using the Insta360 Ace, Ace Pro, or Ace Pro 2 cameras who need to attach external microphones or LED lights. It provides a reliable mounting point that enhances audio and lighting capabilities without adding significant weight to your rig. However, users should note that it is designed specifically for this camera series, limiting its use with other camera brands or models.

No, this cold shoe is specifically designed for the proprietary mounting system of the Insta360 Ace, Ace Pro, and Ace Pro 2.
The mount is designed to maintain access to the camera's core features, but always check the orientation of your mounted microphone cable to ensure it doesn't obstruct the screen movement.
While the accessory is durable, it is not rated for underwater use; always remove external accessories before submerging the camera.
The adapter provides one cold shoe slot per unit, intended for a single accessory at a time.
It is constructed from high-strength, lightweight materials designed for durability in action-oriented environments.
Ensure the external accessory is fully tightened into the cold shoe slot and the quick-release base is snapped completely flush against the camera.
Ensure you are fully depressing the push-button release before attempting to slide the adapter off the camera frame.
To install, align the quick-release mount with the designated attachment point on your Insta360 Ace, Ace Pro, or Ace Pro 2 camera. Press firmly until you hear a click, indicating the mechanism is locked. To remove, simply press the release button and slide the accessory off. To maintain the life of the product, keep the mount clean from dirt, sand, or debris, as particles can interfere with the locking pins. Wipe with a dry, soft cloth after use, especially after exposure to moisture or saltwater, to prevent corrosion of the metal components.
