Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Prepare the Wall: Ensure the wall is clean, dry, and free from dust or grease. Minor imperfections can be covered, but significant damage should be repaired.
- Apply Adhesive: Use a high-quality wallpaper adhesive specifically designed for non-woven (vlies) wallpapers. Apply the adhesive directly to the wall or the wallpaper, following the adhesive manufacturer's instructions.
- Hang the Paper: Unroll the wallpaper and align the first strip carefully. Use a wallpaper brush or smoothing tool to press out any air bubbles and ensure even adhesion.
- Pattern Matching: For subsequent strips, align the pattern carefully with the previous strip to maintain continuity.
- Trimming: Trim any excess wallpaper at the ceiling and baseboard using a sharp utility knife and a straight edge.
Compatibility:
This wallpaper is compatible with most standard interior walls, including plaster, drywall, and previously painted surfaces, provided they are sound and properly prepared.
Care:
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the surface with a slightly damp cloth or sponge. Avoid harsh scrubbing or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the pattern and material.
- Avoid Moisture: While durable, prolonged exposure to high moisture levels is not recommended.
