The Sealey Female Socket Terminal (YT22) is an essential electrical component designed for automotive technicians and DIY enthusiasts who require secure, reliable connections for heavy-gauge wiring. With its 5mm diameter and yellow color-coding, this terminal is specifically engineered to accommodate 12 to 10 AWG cable sizes, offering excellent conductivity for demanding electrical projects. While these terminals provide a robust solution for standard automotive wiring, users should ensure they possess a compatible crimping tool designed for heavy-duty terminals to achieve the best results.

Yes, these terminals feature the standard yellow insulation associated with 10-12 AWG connectors.
It is not recommended, as the terminal is sized for 10-12 AWG and may not provide a secure, safe crimp on smaller wire.
You need a crimping tool rated for insulated terminals that includes a die specifically for the 10-12 AWG (Yellow) range.
While durable for automotive use, they are not specifically marine-grade. We recommend applying adhesive-lined heat shrink for added moisture protection in damp environments.
This package contains 100 individual female socket terminals.
Verify that the crimping tool is set for 10-12 AWG and ensure the wire was stripped correctly before insertion.
Ensure the male pin is exactly 5mm and not bent or obstructed by debris or previous solder buildup.
To achieve the best connection, use a professional-grade ratcheting crimping tool capable of handling the larger dimensions of 10-12 AWG connectors. Avoid using generic pliers, as they may not provide the necessary pressure to create a gas-tight seal.
