This Trend rebate set, model number 46/39X1/2TC, is designed for creating precise rebates, lap joints, tongues, and rebated corners. It features Tungsten Carbide Tipped (TCT) cutters with extra-hard tips for prolonged sharpness and durability, suitable for softwood, hardwood, and man-made timber boards. The cutter tips are highly ground and polished to a 1200-grit finish for accurate, mirror-like cuts. The set includes a 1/2-inch shank and comes with four bearings that allow for adjustment of the rebate size. Changing the bearing alters the rebate depth: a 19 mm bearing yields a 7.9 mm rebate, a 16 mm bearing yields a 9.5 mm rebate, a 12.7 mm bearing yields an 11.1 mm rebate, and a 9.5 mm bearing yields a 13.7 mm rebate. The overall diameter (D) of the cutter is 35 mm, and the cutting depth (C) is 12.7 mm. It is compatible with handheld and table routers and includes a Safety K-Mark for optimal shank positioning and strong collet grip.
