FAQs

Is the material stretchy?

The waffle knit provides a natural, slight mechanical stretch, making it very comfortable for active wear.

Can the shirt be worn open?

Yes, the button-through front makes it an excellent choice for layering over a tank top or t-shirt.

What age group is this set designed for?

This set is specifically tailored for boys, with sizing options available in various children's categories.

Are the pockets functional?

Yes, both the side pockets and the back patch pocket are fully functional for carrying small items.

Does the set fit true to size?

Generally, yes, but because it features an elasticated drawstring waist, there is flexibility in the fit of the shorts.

Troubleshooting

Drawstring has retracted into the waistband

Use a small safety pin attached to the end of the drawstring to slowly feed it back through the eyelet channel.

Fabric appearing wrinkled after washing

Lightly mist the garment with water and hang it while damp; the weight of the fabric as it dries will naturally release most wrinkles.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Includes functional pockets for convenience

Cons

Cotton material may be prone to shrinkage if washed incorrectly

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To keep your Jack and Jones Waffle Set in top condition, follow these care guidelines:

Washing: Machine wash on a gentle, cool cycle (ideally 30 degrees Celsius) to protect the cotton fibers.
Drying: Air dry whenever possible. Avoid high-heat tumble drying, as this is the primary cause of shrinkage in cotton sets.
Ironing: Use a low-heat setting if necessary. Avoid ironing directly over the buttons to prevent damage.
Storage: Fold the set neatly to maintain the texture. Hanging the shirt is acceptable, but ensure you use appropriately sized hangers to prevent shoulder stretching.
