FAQs

How often should I apply Stronghold?

Stronghold should typically be applied once every month for continuous protection against parasites.

Can I bathe my dog after application?

It is best to avoid bathing your dog immediately before or after application, as it may reduce the effectiveness of the product.

Does Stronghold cover all types of internal worms?

Stronghold treats specific internal parasites. Please consult your veterinarian to confirm if it covers the specific worms prevalent in your area.

What if I choose the wrong dosage weight?

Always choose the dosage corresponding to your dog's weight. Using a dose for a much larger dog can be unsafe, while a dose for a much smaller dog may not be effective.

Is this product safe for puppies?

Please check the specific packaging instructions or consult with your vet, as age and weight restrictions apply for safe usage.

Troubleshooting

Pet shows irritation at the application site

Small amounts of redness may occur; however, if irritation persists or becomes severe, wash the area with mild soap and water and consult your veterinarian.

Accidental ingestion by the pet

If your pet licks the application site, you may observe temporary excessive salivation. Ensure the product is applied in a spot where the animal cannot reach.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure maximum effectiveness, verify your dog's exact weight before selecting the dosage package. Stronghold is available in variants ranging from Toy Dog (2.6-5kg) up to Extra Large Dogs (40.1-60kg). To apply, ensure your pet's coat is dry. Part the hair at the base of the neck in front of the shoulder blades until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the tube directly onto the skin and squeeze the tube firmly to empty the entire contents in one spot. Avoid touching the application site until it is dry. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and keep out of reach of children.
