Product Information
Full details
The Trespass Hydration Bottle Vas is designed for outdoor enthusiasts, runners, and active individuals who require quick, reliable hydration while on the move. Its primary benefit is the combination of an extendable straw and a leak-proof bite valve, which allows for hands-free or quick-sip access without needing to pause or unscrew a cap. A key caveat to consider is that the 500ml capacity is optimized for shorter sessions, meaning it may require frequent refills during prolonged, high-intensity endurance training or long-distance hikes.

FAQs
Is the bottle dishwasher safe?
Hand washing is recommended to preserve the integrity of the silicone bite valve and the plastic material of the bottle.
Can I use this for hot liquids?
This bottle is designed for water and hydration fluids; it is not intended for boiling or extremely hot liquids, as this may warp the plastic.
Is the material BPA-free?
Yes, the Trespass Hydration Bottle Vas is constructed from food-safe, BPA-free materials suitable for everyday athletic use.
Can the straw be removed for cleaning?
Yes, the extendable straw can be detached for thorough cleaning to ensure optimal hygiene.
Will this bottle fit in standard bike cages?
While designed primarily for running vests, it may fit standard bike bottle cages, though it is best to verify the width compatibility of your specific cage.
How often should I replace the bite valve?
Inspect the bite valve regularly for wear. If it shows signs of cracking or loses its leak-proof properties, it should be replaced.
Troubleshooting
Difficulty drawing water through the straw
Check if the bite valve is properly engaged or if the straw has been pinched or kinked inside the vest pocket.
Leaking around the cap or valve
Ensure the cap is screwed on tightly and the silicone bite valve is seated firmly into the straw housing without any debris blocking the seal.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Integrated bite valve prevents leaks during movement
- Compatible with most running vests for hands-free hydration
- Convenient straw mechanism eliminates the need to unscrew caps
- Compact and lightweight for optimal performance
- Durable build quality suitable for various outdoor conditions
Cons
- Limited to 500ml capacity which may not suffice for long-duration efforts
- Requires careful cleaning of the straw and valve to maintain hygiene
- Not insulated, so it will not keep liquids cold for extended periods
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To prepare the bottle for use, ensure the straw is fully extended and the bite valve is correctly seated. Rinse the bottle thoroughly with warm water and a mild detergent before its first use. When using with a running vest, place the bottle in a dedicated pocket and adjust the toggle or strap to ensure it remains stationary during impact. After each use, disassemble the straw and valve to remove any residual fluids. Use a small bottle brush for the interior and a straw cleaner for the internal tubing to prevent mold or bacteria buildup. Always allow the components to air dry completely before reassembling and storing.
