No, they are specifically designed for sanders requiring 13 x 457mm belts, such as the Black & Decker KA900E.
Yes, the aluminum oxide construction is durable enough to handle wood, metal, and plastic.
60 grit is considered a medium-coarse grade, making it ideal for aggressive material removal rather than fine smoothing.
Each pack contains five individual sanding belts.
These belts are primarily intended for dry sanding applications.
Adjust the tracking knob on your sander until the belt remains centered while running at low speed.
Ensure the tension setting is not too tight and check that no sharp edges on the workpiece are catching the belt.
Use a sanding belt cleaner stick to remove packed-on material or replace the belt if the grain has worn smooth.
To install, ensure your belt sander is unplugged. Release the tension lever on your sander, slide the belt over the rollers, and align it so it tracks centrally. Re-engage the tension lever and briefly run the sander to check for proper alignment. To prolong the life of your belts, store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity. After use, you can gently use a sanding belt cleaning stick to remove dust and debris from the abrasive surface, which will help maintain consistent cutting power.
