Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure optimal results, always work on a clean, grease-free surface. If applying to metal or smooth wood, a light sanding can improve mechanical adhesion.
- Preparation: Shake or knead the tube gently before opening to ensure pigments are well-mixed.
- Application: Use synthetic brushes or palette knives. If thinning, use water or specific acrylic mediums sparingly to maintain pigment saturation.
- Mixing: These paints blend well with other acrylic lines, though mixing them with non-iridescent colors may mute the shift effect.
- Cleanup: Clean brushes and tools immediately with soap and warm water before the paint dries, as acrylics are permanent once cured.
- Storage: Keep tubes tightly capped in a cool, dry place to prevent the paint from drying out inside the container.
