Yes, the kit includes a multi-function handset that attaches to the riser slide rail.
It is designed for standard bathroom wall surfaces like tile, stone, or finished drywall, provided you use the appropriate anchors for the substrate.
You can cycle through the available spray modes by turning or clicking the adjustment ring located on the face of the handheld shower unit.
The riser rail is a fixed length, but the handset holder is fully adjustable along the entire height of the rail.
Use a soft cloth and mild soapy water to clean the surface, followed by a dry cloth to prevent water spots.
Yes, the kit is designed to be compatible with most standard wall-mounted or exposed shower mixer valves.
Check the handset nozzles for mineral buildup and gently rub them to dislodge debris, or soak the handset in a mild descaling solution.
Tighten the mounting screws behind the bracket covers; if the wall anchor is loose, you may need to re-anchor the mounting hardware.
Ensure the rubber washer is properly seated inside the hose connector and tighten the connection by hand until snug.
To install the Winstead system, ensure your wall surface is suitable for drilling and anchoring. Start by measuring your desired mounting height, ensuring the water supply hose has sufficient slack to accommodate the highest position of the riser rail. Use standard bathroom-grade silicone sealant around the mounting brackets to prevent moisture penetration behind the tiles. For care and maintenance, wipe down the chrome or metallic finish with a soft, damp cloth after use to prevent water spots and lime buildup. Avoid abrasive sponges or harsh chemical cleaners, as these can dull the protective finish of the riser bar and handset. Regularly flush the spray nozzles to ensure mineral deposits do not obstruct the water flow.
