Full details

This VEVOR Baby Gate in White is designed for families needing a secure barrier for children or pets. Troubleshooting

Gate doesn't close automatically or latch properly.

Ensure the gate is installed level and that the bottom locking mechanism is clear of debris. Check if the latch handle is fully engaged.

Pressure mounted gate feels wobbly or unstable.

Re-adjust the pressure bolts to ensure even and firm pressure on both sides. Make sure the mounting cups are seated correctly against the wall.

Difficulty opening or closing the dual-lock latch.

Verify that the gate is properly aligned within its frame. Sometimes, slight adjustments to the mounting hardware can resolve sticking issues. Ensure the latch mechanism is clean.

The gate doesn't fit the intended opening.

Double-check the measurement of your opening against the gate's specified width range (29.5 - 48.4 inches). If the opening is slightly outside this range, you may need to adjust the pressure bolts or consider an extension kit.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup:

  1. Unpack all components and check against the parts list.
  2. Determine your preferred installation method: pressure mounting or hardware mounting.
  3. For pressure mounting, insert the mounting cups and adjust the pressure bolts until the gate is firmly secured between the door frame. Ensure it is level and stable.
  4. For hardware mounting, identify the desired location, mark points for the support brackets, drill pilot holes, and securely attach the brackets to the wall or banister using the provided screws.
  5. Attach the gate to the brackets.

Compatibility:

  • Width Range: Fits openings from 29.5 inches (749 mm) to 48.4 inches (1229 mm). If your opening is wider, consider using extension kits (sold separately).
  • Height: The gate is 30 inches (762 mm) tall.
  • Surface: Suitable for most standard door frames, hallways, and staircases. Ensure mounting surfaces are sturdy.

Care:

  • Clean the gate with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the powder coating.
  • Periodically check the pressure bolts or hardware screws to ensure they remain tight and the gate is secure.
