Product Information

Full details

The Cardinal X spinning reel series is reliable, smooth, and affordable. It features 4 bearings for light and smooth rotation, with a strong front-controlled drag. The durable graphite body and rotor protect the zinc alloy internal parts. The reel boasts a strong, lightweight Abu Garcia design with a double anodized aluminum spool and a foldable handle with a soft rubber knob. Its 31 high-quality stainless steel ball bearings ensure very low resistance during operation. The black and red color combination offers a luxury appearance. The high-performance fighting drag system utilizes a quality felt washer front drag for reliable and consistent performance, crucial for fighting large fish. It offers a maximum drag of 5.5kg (12lb) for the 4000 and 5000 sizes. These versatile fishing reels are designed as affordable workhorses for various techniques, species, and applications, available in sizes 1000 to 5000 with a 5.2:1 gear ratio. The large diameter, braid-ready aluminum spool facilitates accurate distance casting, and combined with the gear ratio, provides a high line retrieve rate of up to 92cm per handle turn on the 5000 size.
